Our 2020 Violet Richardson winners were Nouhamin Leoulekal, a student at Middle College High School and her volunteer organization, The Watershed Project, and Valeria Montes and her volunteer organization, Global Glimpse.
Nouhamin worked with The Watershed Project to tackle the problem of garbage and environmental waste on her high school campus and on local creeks and beaches. Valeria developed a community action plan to work with Feeding America through Global Glimpse. She was able spread awareness about food insufficiency and to earn money and get donations to give to a food bank.

Our Live Your Dream Award winner this year is Kristin Lobos, a single mother with a young daughter. We were not able to present Kristin's award to her in person as we were sheltering in place. She sent a thank you note in appreciation of her award. It is heartwarming to know that we have invested in a young woman's dreams.
We wish all of our awards winners the very best in their future endeavors.
