Our Violet Richardson Award was given to Jenny Gonzalez. She is a junior at Middle College High School. Jenny got involved in a volunteer program at the San Pablo Police Department as some of her family members are in law enforcement. She demonstrated her commitment and abilities in her volunteer work. Our Violet Richardson Award was given to Jenny Gonzalez. She is a junior at Middle College High School. Jenny got involved in a volunteer program at the San Pablo Police Department as some of her family members are in law enforcement. She demonstrated her commitment and abilities in her volunteer work. Jenny later joined the junior police academy where she excelled. She has been given an internship at the San Pablo Police Department.

We awarded $5,000 scholarships to three very deserving young women. Manshi Chhetri is graduating from El Cerrito High School and will attend UC Berkeley. Manshi will major in computer science. She plans to go to grad school after finishing her four year degree. Jasmine Flores-Ocampo attends Middle College High School.

We awarded $5,000 scholarships to three very deserving young women. Manshi Chhetri is graduating from El Cerrito High School and will attend UC Berkeley. Manshi will major in computer science. She plans to go to grad school after finishing her four year degree. Jasmine Flores-Ocampo attends Middle College High School. Jasmine's major at UC Berkeley will be Chemistry on a pre-med track. She would like to be an OB-Gyn. Analilia Garcia is an El Cerrito High School student who will attend CSU Bakersfield. Analilia has been accepted into the pre health program to pursue a nursing degree. She plans to specialize in labor and delivery.
